Supercomputing 2024 is an international conference focusing on high performance computing, networking, storage and analysis. Our colleagues from the »High Performance Computing« division are present at a booth with several exciting projects and various topics.

The Math Talent School is aimed at mathematics enthusiasts who would like to gain an insight into the professional world of mathematicians. Especially those who want to know more about what »applied mathematics« means and want to exchange ideas with others.

The Aachen-Dresden-Denkendorf International Textile Conference is one of the largest textile conferences in Europe, covering a wide range of topics with a focus on »textile technology and innovation«. These include textile mechanical engineering, bio-based fibres, high-performance fibres, fibre composites and lightweight constructions, circular economy and recycling, medicine and health as well as functionalization and finishing. Our expert Dr. Walter Arne from the department »Transport Processes« is on site for us and gives a presentation at the conference on »Advancements in Modeling and Simulation for Fiber Melt Spinning«.

The fair at Messe Dortmund shows how technologies, products and services make it possible to achieve heating targets. Our experts Dr. Matthias Eimer and Johanna Heidrich from the »Transport Processes« department will be represented with a stand on the topic of »Software Solution Ad-Net Heating – Dynamic Simulation for the Grids of Tomorrow« (Softwarelösung AD-Net Heating - Dynamische Simulation für die Netze von morgen).

In the »Surface Inspection« seminar, participants learn about modern 3D analysis methods and the challenges they present. Our experts Dr Stephani and Markus Rauhut offer insights into algorithms and innovative approaches to support investment decisions.

The Graduate Congress Germany will take place on 28.11.2024 and 29.11.2024 at the exhibition center in Cologne. Our employees Isabelle Dieckhoff and Esther Packullat will be on site at the joint stand of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft.

Foam Expo Europe is Europe's largest free trade fair for technical foams and manufacturing processes. It offers opportunities for personal exchange, presentation of new technologies and expert lectures. Our colleague Dr. Konrad Steiner from the »Flow and Material Simulation« department will give a lecture on »Accelerating and Optimization of Foam Production Using Fast and Accurate Digital Prediction Tools«.

Our colleague Marvin Schulte from the »Transportation Processes« department will give a lecture entitled »An Epidemiological Model With Stochastic Appearance of Mutations« at the SWIM conference 2024.

Our course will help you gain a deeper understanding of the image processing workflow for industrial solutions. We cover the basics of image processing, including image enhancement, image restoration, image segmentation, and image analysis using ToolIP.

fleXstructures GmbH, IPS AB, the Fraunhofer-Chalmers Centre (FCC) and we are pleased to invite you to the sixth International IPS Cable Simulation Conference on June 25 and 26, 2025 in the hometown of fleXstructures Kaiserslautern. Many IPS Cable Simulation users from all over the world have already taken the opportunity to attend our conferences to learn more about the development of the software and new features and to share their own experiences with users from different fields and countries. With the sixth IPS Cable Simulation User Conference 2025, we want to continue this tradition and strengthen the international network of experts using cable simulation technology.
