Successful treatment of cancer in addition to the actual therapy also requires comprehensive follow-up care. Up to now, follow-up care takes place according to exclusively medical aspects in direct correspondence between physician and patient. However, improving the patient's quality of life, also with the help of his or her social environment, often plays a minor role.
Improved Quality of Life Through Digital Assistance
The project goal of ONCORELIEF is to develop a digital assistance system that supports cancer patients in the post-therapeutic improvement of their health status. This assistant assesses patients' quality of life based on relevant influencing factors and identifies the need for intervention at an early stage. Based on this, the assistant suggests individually suitable measures to the patient, such as fitness exercises or nutritional concepts, to improve his or her well-being.
