Workshop of the DFH Research Training Group on Mathematical Image Processing

The Franco-German University (DFH) is funding a research training group that supports doctoral students from the Rhineland-Palatinate Technical University of Kaiserslautern-Landau (RPTU) and the Fraunhofer ITWM. For the past 13 years, six doctoral students have completed parts of their studies in France at the Center de Morphologie Mathématique de MINES Paris (CMM).

The DFH facilitates the exchange and networking of young researchers through structured training programs and workshops that take place regularly. This year's supporting program includes numerous lectures and a poster session.

It will be supervised by Dr. Katja Schladitz and Prof. Dr. Claudia Redenbach, who will accompany the doctoral students in terms of content. So far, 21 German graduates have completed the Research Training Group, and there is a desire for further double doctorates and the resumption of a French language course.
