Weitergedacht – Interdisciplinary Discourse on the Relationship Between Science and AI

The »Weitergedacht« (»Thinking Ahead«) conference, hosted by the Rhineland-Palatinate Technical University of Kaiserslautern-Landau (RPTU), brings together scientists to discuss the impacts, opportunities, and challenges of Artificial Intelligence on research and society. Experts from various fields such as German Studies, Mathematics, Philosophy, Human Rights Education, and Technical Didactics offer insights into current developments, with students presenting their work in a poster session.

Esther Packullat and Dr. Isabel Michel participate in the »On the Relationship Between Science and AI« conference, presenting a lecture titled »Women in AI Research – Underrepresented, Invisible, and Indispensable«. The lecture focuses on the book »Women Researchers in Focus – We Create Change«. Both authors highlight the next generation of AI, featuring 42 women researchers who serve as role models for students pursuing AI.
