The German Actuarial Association (DAV) and the German Society for Actuarial and Financial Mathematics (DGVFM) are once again organizing their autumn conference this year, where the Actuarial Data Science (ADS), Enterprise Risk Management (AFIR/ERM), ASTIN, Health Insurance (KRANKEN), and Life Insurance (LEBEN) committees meet.

The two-day program brings together experts from the largest insurance sectors in Germany, offers new insights into key topics in the industry, and creates opportunities for exchange and networking. The »DAV intern« format is also continued to discuss the strategic direction of the DAV with its members. As last year, the entire program is also offered online via livestream.

At booth 2, our team from the »Financial Mathematics« department – Marcus Willems, Dr. Stefan Mai, Philipp Mahler, and Stefanie Grimm – presents how our institute's research supports the work of insurance companies and strengthens consumer protection. In addition, Prof. Dr. Ralf Korn from the Rhineland-Palatinate Technical University of Kaiserslautern-Landau gives a lecture on »Optimal Portfolios With Sustainable Assets – Aspects for Life Insurers«.
