Satellite Event to the Poverty and Health Congress

»The Public Health Service (ÖGD), a Modern Service.«

The event is in a series with the satellite event »ÖGD meets Public Health: Challenges for the time after Corona« of the previous year. It provides a framework for exchanges between public health practitioners, academics and young professionals to consider how the funds from the »Pact for Public Health« can be put to good use, and not just for infection control.

Our colleagues Phuc Truong and Dr. Stefanie Grimm from the department of »Financial Mathematics« will participate digitally with a short presentation.

In accordance with the »Mission Statement for a Modern Public Health Service«, the tasks of the Public Health Service as a modern public health service include health protection, health promotion, counseling and information, as well as control and coordination of health issues in the community. The working method is socially compensatory, planning and creative, in order to enable equal health opportunities and the best possible health for all.
