Conference, Hof (Bavaria) / November 06, 2024 - November 07, 2024
Hofer Nonwovens Days 2024
Once again this year, innovative developments in the nonwovens industry will be presented in presentations from the fields of industry, operational practice and research. Participants will also have the opportunity to make new contacts and strengthen existing ones.
Our colleague Dr. Walter Arne from the »Transport Processes« department will be giving a presentation on »Simulation of spinning processes for improved crystallization control in nonwovens«. In addition, Dr. Dietmar Hietel, head of the »Transport Processes« department, and Dr. Walter Arne will have a stand at the accompanying exhibition.
Meltblown Processes
Meltblown processes are industrial production processes for manufacturing fine fiber nonwovens. In these processes, molten polymer is forced through nozzles into a forward flowing high velocity stream to be stretched and cooled in the highly turbulent air flow. This ultimately produces the ultra-fine nonwovens.
