The district heating industry plays a key role in the current heating transition. The transformation of heat generation towards green district heating and municipal heating planning are undergoing a dynamic change.

The current energy policy situation for district heating and cogeneration in Germany, the implementation of the municipal heating and transformation plan and practical experiences with green district heating generation are the focus of the event. In addition, digitization and operational optimization, personnel and qualification issues, as well as the legal framework in the relevant subject areas will be discussed.

In addition, participating companies and institutes will present their products relevant to the topic in an accompanying exhibition. Our experts Dr. Matthias Eimer and Dr. Jan Mohring from the »Transport Processes« department will be on site with a stand at the exhibition. Dr. Matthias Eimer will give a lecture titled »Digital Twin for District Heating in Ludwigshafen – Monitoring and Optimization in Practice«.
