Conference

COMPLAS is a Thematic Conference of the European Community on Computational Methods in Applied Sciences (ECCOMAS) and a Special Interest Conference of the International Association for Computational Mechanics (IACM).

An expert from our MESHFREE team, Dr.-Ing. Benjamin Bock-Marbach, will contribute a presentation to the program. Our software MESHFREE is used for the mesh-free simulation of physical processes. It is based on a general material model and allows to represent complex material behavior.

The goals of the Conference on Computational Plasticity (COMPLAS) are to provide both the theoretical basis for solving nonlinear problems in solid mechanics involving plasticity and other material nonlinearities, and the numerical algorithms required for efficient and robust computer implementation. The conference will serve as a forum for practitioners in the field of nonlinear structural mechanics to discuss recent advances and identify future research directions.
