IUTAM Symposium on Optimal Design and Control of Multibody Systems - Adjoint Methods, Alternatives, and Beyond
From July 18 to 21, 2022, the Institute of Mechanics and Marine Engineering (MUM) at the Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH) will host a symposium for researchers working on various aspects of sensitivity analysis, optimization and optimal control of multibody systems.
Our colleague Dipl.-Math. Monika Harant from the department »Mathematics for Vehicle Engineering« will participate here with a talk on »Optimal control of a Human Driver Model including the Interaction with a Flexible Seat«.
The interdisciplinary nature of the event is intended to enable the exchange of valuable information and lead to fruitful discussions on optimal structural design and control design. The thematic focus here is on questions of efficient modeling, analysis, optimization and control - also with a view to real-time applications or aspects of artificial intelligence.
