PARTICLES 2021 will address both the fundamentals and the applicability of state-of-the-art particle-based computational methods that can be effectively used to solve a wide range of problems in engineering and applied sciences. Some of our experts from the division »Mathematics for Vehicle Engineering« and from the department »Transport Processes« will contribute to the program with interesting presentations.
Our experts Jonathan Jahnke, Dr. Stefan Steidel, Xiaoyuan Chang, Andreas Becker and Christos Vrettos from the division »Mathematics for Vehicle Engineering« will give a presentation on »Triaxial Compression and Direct Shear Tests in the Parametrization Procedure of Soil Modeled With the Discrete Element Method«.
In addition, experts from the department »Transport Processes« will present current research within MESHFREE on the modeling of complex materials as well as on the modeling of sprays. There will be two presentations:
