The Deep Learning Seminar is organized by employees from the field »Data Analysis and Machine Learning« in the department »High Performance Computing«. It is intended to give interested persons an insight into this large field of research and a deeper understanding. Everyone who wants to learn more about Deep Learning, Machine Learning or AI in general is invited. The event takes place regularly on Thursdays. This week Sharad Kakran (Fraunhofer ITWM) will talk about »Neural Architecture Search for Semantic Segmentation«.

The seminar KL-Regelungstechnik (Kaiserslautern – Control Theory and Control Engineering) is organized by our department as well as several research groups of the TU Kaiserslautern. Topics of the talks June 26, 2020 are »Control of Active Suspensions « and »Finite-time Estimation for Time Varying Systems with Delay«.

The exact date will be announced later.] Every two years, the TU-Nachwuchsring and the High Performance Center Simulation and Software Based Innovation organize a competition for young researchers with all kinds of scientific background, awarding prices with a total value of up to 6.000 € for the most exciting presentations and best posters.

We present the latest results of our research together with a joint stand of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft. Our spin-off fleXstructures will also be present at our stand.

Damit sollen Interessierte Einblicke in dieses große Forschungsgebiet und ein tieferes Verständnis erhalten. Eigenladen sind alle, die mehr über Deep Learning, Machine Learning oder auch KI allgemein erfahren möchten. Die Veranstaltung findet regelmäßig donnerstags statt. Diese Woche referiert Alexander Nikolas Breuer (Fraunhofer ITWM) zum Thema »Deep Learning in Seismic Processing: Demultiple and Trim Statics«.
