The meeting is intended as a meeting for young scientists and researchers active in the wide field of terahertz and millimeter-wave technology. It gives young researchers the opportunity to present their research in a talk or a poster, to extend their scientific network and to exchange experiences with other students active in this research topic. Our department »Materials Characterization and Testing« will present their work as well.

Fachseminar »Mikrowellen- und Terahertz-Prüftechnik in der Praxis« statt. Die Veranstaltung gibt einen Überblick über den aktuellen Stand der Industrieanwendungen und Technologien und zeigt die Potentiale dieser Prüftechnik auf. Auch unser Experte aus der Abteilung »Materialcharakterisierung und -prüfung« wird unser Projekt RADOM vorstellen.

Die 3. Runde des Landesettbewerb Mathematik ist eine dreitägige Veranstaltung an der TU Kaiserslautern. Die Veranstaltung wird vom Felix-Klein-Zentrum für Mathematik (FKZM) gefördert. Als Mitglied des FKZM richten wir die Abschlussveranstaltung am Freitag den 12. April aus.

The International Society for Porous Media (InterPore) works on the broad topic porous media. The aim of this non-profit association is to promote and disseminate the knowledge needed to understand, describe and model natural and industrial porous systems. The annual meeting provides a common platform for researchers working on the modelling of flows and transport in complex porous media. At the conference, all interested parties have the opportunity to exchange ideas with colleagues about the work in the field of porous media and thus create new research together. Our experts from the department "Flow and Material Simulation" are also on site and give various lectures on our research on porous media.

The seminar KL-Regelungstechnik (Kaiserslautern – Control Theory and Control Engineering) is organized by our department as well as several research groups of the TU Kaiserslautern. Topic of the talk in May 2019 is »Iterative Medium-Term Production Scheduling of an Industrial Formulation Plant«.
