70 Years of Fraunhofer – Fraunhofer in Rhineland-Palatinate celebrates! On November 6, interested STEM students and graduates will be able to inform themselves directly about career entry and opportunities at Fraunhofer in Rhineland-Palatinate. But that's not all: Together with the scientists, they discuss the ideas of tomorrow and face a challenge that demands knowledge, technical skill and a strong team spirit: the Fraunhofer Escape Game.

This year once again innovative developments concerning the industrial sector of non-woven fabric will be introduced by presentations from the fields of industry, operational practice and research. In addition to this functional information, the conference gives participants the opportunity to establish new relationships and deepen existing contacts. Our expertes of the textile industry in the department »Transport Processes« are on site with our research on process simulation for fiber and non-woven processes.

Non-Destructive Testing and Evaluation (NDT&E) is one of the major requirements in aerospace structural design. Appropriate use of NDT guarantees safety in aerospace and is thus a subject of highest attention. Our experts of the department »Materials Characterization and Testing« are on site and present our research on the radome inspection with Terahertz.

The Deep Learning Seminar is organized by employees from the field »Data Analysis and Machine Learning« in the department »High Performance Computing«. It is intended to give interested persons an insight into this large field of research and a deeper understanding. Everyone who wants to learn more about Deep Learning, Machine Learning or AI in general is invited. The event takes place regularly on Thursdays.
