The DSC Conference gathers driving simulation specialists from the industrial and academic communities as well as commercial simulation providers. Topics will include state of the art in driving simulation technology, research and developments, extended with progressively merging virtual reality (VR) developments. This year program will also give an enlarged place for simulation tools for autonomous and connected vehicles along with advanced driving assistance system (ADAS) applications. Human factors and motion rendering nevertheless will remain the now traditional axis of the conference.

On September 6 and 7, 2018, the High Performance Center is organizing a two-day international workshop focusing on digital technologies in the chemical industry.

The International Conference on Infrared, Millimeter, and Terahertz Waves (IRMMW-THz) is one of the world's established events in this field. We are on site with our experts, seven talks, including three keynote talks.

At SNI 2018, scientists from various disciplines meet to present their results and exchange ideas. The SNi takes place at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the TU Munich and serves as a »showcase for collaborative research«.

Meeting canceled! The 2nd Biannual Meeting of the German National Chapter of InterPore aims to unite people from diverse disciplines who study and work with porous media. The goal of the annual conference is to bring people together so that they can exchange ideas and be made aware of each other's interests and research activities.

European Microwave Week brings industry and academia together, European Microwave Week 2018 is a six day event, including three cutting edge conferences and one trade and technology exhibition featuring leading players from across the globe. We are on site with experts from our Center Materials Characterization and Testing.

With more than 1,500 participants, the MSE is one of the largest English speaking congresses in the field of Material Science and Engineering across Europe. Every two years, numerous questions of scientific, social, and economic nature with regard to Materials Science and Engineering are discussed in several symposia and plenary lectures.

The application of numerical simulation incorporating digital human models offers exciting opportunities in automotive development. Applying human models in comfort, ergonomics, occupant safety and other disciplines promises to overcome limitations imposed by the use of real humans or their mechanical surrogates and thus enables further optimization of automotive designs. The symposium intends to continue and further advance the dialog between researchers, software developers and industrial users of human models.

As part of the VIP+ project "REconstruction of POrous Structures from FIB-SEM images" (REPOS), founded by the ministry for science and education (BMBF), the Karlsruhe Nano Micro Facility will host a workshop on 3D FIB-SEM imaging & analysis at KIT Campus North. The focus of the workshop will be on acquisition of 3D slice&view stacks, alignment and segmentation of FIB slice&view data sets with emphasis on porous materials.
