3rd Expert Discussion »Relief for Nursing Staff Through the Digital Transformation – What Next?«

Innovative digital applications, in particular the use of artificial intelligence (AI), offer support in various care situations, but are often still in the development and piloting phase. It is important to investigate and monitor the impact of these technologies on everyday care and the relief of caregivers while they are still being tested. This requires resources and skills that can be provided by institutional innovation, such as digital hubs.

In the third expert discussion in the series »How can we achieve a digital dividend in care? Shaping the digital transformation in the interests of employees«, both the potential of AI applications to ease the burden and the role of digital hubs in health and care facilities will be discussed. Finally, the first interim results of the expert discussion series will be presented and discussed. This event is organized by the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung  [Homepage only available in German].

Our expert Dr. Alexander Scherrer from the »Optimization« division will be on site and will give a lecture on Monday, 02.09.2024 at 2:20 p.m. with the title: »AI-assisted care planning – opportunities for relief and framework conditions« (KI-assistierte Pflegeplanung – Entlastungschancen und Rahmenbedingungen).
