Hybrid Symposium

Since 2016, the German Red Cross has been organizing the conference on disaster risk reduction in Germany with the support of the Federal Foreign Office. This conference serves as a platform for exchange between national and international disaster risk reduction experts. The motto of this year's conference is »On the Edge? Disaster Risk Reduction in Fragile Times«.

Together with our project partners of the Disaster Research Unit (KFS) of the Freie Univertität Berlin and the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI), we are offering an online workshop. As part of this workshop, our expert Marvin Schulte from the department »Transport Processes« will give a presentation entitled »The SEMSAI Research Project – Predicting the Development of Pandemics«.
