Hybrid Conference

The »Artificial Intelligence in Architecture, Engineering and Construction« (AI in AEC) is part of the Artificial Intelligence in the Built Environment conference series. The aim of the conference is to highlight the current situation and future prospects for the application of Artificial Intelligence in the built environment. 

Anna Nowacka is on site for the department »Image Processing« and will give a presentation on »Deep Learning Based Crack Segmentation in 3D Computed Tomography Images of Concrete«.

Alongside the presentation, our experts in the project »DAnoBi« (Detection of Anomalies in Image Data) worked out how to find and characterise cracks in concrete. For this purpose, cracks in the interior can be imaged and analysed non-destructively using computer tomography.
