»Maintenance« in Dortmund is the leading trade fair for industrial maintenance, where experts and companies from various industries come together every year to learn about innovations and trends.

Our colleague Julia Burr and the deputy head of the department »System Analysis, Prognosis and Control«, Dr. Benjamin Adrian, will be there to present two exciting topics from their department:

Torsion Bar: Using the torsion bar, we will show how easy it is to generate torsional vibrations and display them via the measuring system. The background to this is the idea of using the drive train as a monitoring medium for complex systems.

Drive Train Demonstrator: Using the drive train demonstrator, we show the advantages and disadvantages of different analysis methods for condition-based maintenance on defective bearings and gearboxes.
