Conference

The third annual conference of the Modeling Network for Major Infectious Diseases (MONID) takes place this year at the GLS Event Campus in Berlin. This event is an important platform for exchange with experts in mathematical modeling of infectious diseases and related topics. Data-based modeling is crucial for rapid and effective responses to infectious disease outbreaks as it takes into account medical and societal factors and promotes collaboration between experts from different disciplines.

In addition to discussion panels, the conference offers short presentations, posters and lectures. Our expert Marvin Schulte from the »Transport Processes« department is on site with the presentation »Inferring the Effect of Self-Protective Behavior on Transmission Dynamics«.
