KIDA-KON 2024
AI for Research in Food, Agriculture and Environment
KIDA-KON 2024 is a specialist conference focusing on the application of artificial intelligence in research on food, agriculture and the environment. The two-day event will take place at the German Biomass Research Center (DBFZ) in Leipzig and is following the successful KIDA Conference 2023 in Quedlinburg.
The aim of the event is to bring together experts from science and public authorities to discuss the challenges and opportunities of implementing artificial intelligence in agrifood research. The conference also offers young scientists the opportunity to present their research results and to network.
Our expert Dipl.-Inf. Markus Rauhut, head of the department »Image Processing«, is also on site with a poster on the topic of »AI versus Humans – Does the Blind Test Show What We Can Optimize in Wood Species Identification?« (KI versus Mensch – Zeigt der Blindtest, was wir bei der Holzartenbestimmung optimieren können?).
