We are present at the Fraunhofer joint booth in hall 2, booth F.03.
The herCAREER-Expo supports women in their professional environment. The trade fair stands for gender equality: Whether entering or advancing in a job or starting a business – the herCAREER-Expo offers numerous opportunities for a direct exchange of experiences with experts and personalities from business, science, culture, politics and the media.
Our colleague Isabelle Dieckhoff from the HR Department can be found at the joint booth of the Fraunhofer headquarters. There you will have the opportunity to get to know the work and to learn more about a career at the Fraunhofer ITWM.
In addition, other institutes such as the Fraunhofer Institute for Experimental Software Engineering IESE, the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation IPA, the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE, and Fraunhofer UMSICHT will be on site to present Fraunhofer career paths and jobs.

»Tell us your Lautrer math story!« is the motto of our video series. Pioneering technologies are developed on Kaiserslautern's unique Science Mile. Behind them are very special personalities. Of course, this is also due to the attractive location: The University Kaiserslautern-Landau (RPTU) with its excellent mathematics department and the world's largest institute for industrial mathematics, the Fraunhofer ITWM, are within walking distance and all benefit from the synergies. In the current video, we asked two female mathematicians what it is like to work at our institute or to study in Kaiserslautern – as a female mathematician in a rather male-dominated subject. Firoozeh Aga, PhD student at Fraunhofer ITWM, and Milena Röhrs, math student at RPTU Kaiserslautern, give an insight into their Lautrer math story.
