Terahertz technologies have immense potentials in industrial applications due to their ability to increase bandwidths and data capacities. In the joint project »Terahertz Technologies for Communication and Sensor Technology« (T-KOS), the technological competences of the Forschungsfabrik Mikroelektronik Deutschland (FMD) for communication and sensor technology are combined with the expertise of Fraunhofer ITWM. Terahertz radiation is being researched with a view to its possible use in industry. For this purpose, solutions have been developed which will be presented at the digital event.

Our expert Dr. Fabian Friedrich from the division »Materials Characterization and Testing« will present one of the demonstrators in a talk entitled »THz inline measurement technology: Automated imaging testing using a terahertz line scan camera«.
