Wiesbaden, Symposium / November 16, 2022 - November 17, 2022
International Symposium »Human Modeling and Simulation in Automotive Engineering«
The symposium revolves around the most current questions and advances in research on automotive engineering: The modeling and simulation of humans is a technology that opens up exciting new possibilities in vehicle development – and especially with respect to autonomous vehicles.
Our colleague Dr.-Ing. Joachim Linn from the division »Mathematics for Vehicle Development« will give a talk here with the title »EMMA4Drive – A Dynamic Human Model for Autonomous Driving«.
A central theme of the symposium is the safety of passengers who are in alternative seating positions: Human modeling and simulation is the only technology that can be used to assess passenger protection in novel vehicle interior architectures and flexible seating arrangements.
