University Information Event

The Day of Mathematics is an information event of the Department of Mathematics at TU Kaiserslautern, which is primarily aimed at students of secondary schools of all grades as well as accompanying teachers and parents, but also at students.

Every two years, just before the summer vacations, a varied program is offered around the topic of »Mathematics«. In exciting lectures and workshops, you can experience the fascination of mathematics and its applications using concrete examples and get an impression of the diverse career prospects opened up by studying mathematics. All those interested will also find information about the prerequisites, the course of studies, and the advantages of studying mathematics in Kaiserslautern. The social program offers the opportunity to talk to staff, students, and graduates and to get a taste of the university world. 

Of course, we as an institute will also be present and some of our experts will be there – with a small booth and interesting lectures.
