This year, TU Kaiserslautern is organizing a digital event for all math-enthusiastic students to get to know the university and the study program. In a few short presentations, the participants will get an impression of what math at the university is like and which cool projects are running at the Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Mathematics ITWM.
Our institute director Prof. Dr. Anita Schöbel, will be there digitally and will present our work in her talk »Energy, Health, Transport: Mathematics for a Good Future« starting at 11:05 pm. From 11:45 pm, one of our consultants, Prof. Dr. Ralf Korn, will also contribute to the program with a lecture on the current topic »Corona rapid test positive ... and now?« will contribute to the program.
There are many opportunities to join our institute: from student assistant to career starters or doctoral students to scientific employees – everything is possible!
