The workshop is intended as a meeting for young scientists and researchers active in the wide field of terahertz and millimeter-wave technology. It gives young researchers the opportunity to present their research in a talk or a poster, to extend their scientific network and to exchange experiences with other students active in this research topic. A sign of the industry's engagement on an international platform where users can find a wide range of processes, new materials and composite solutions. The trade fair will bring together a wide range of players – from materials production to user industries.

The workshop offers scientists and industry representatives the opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience in the field of Terahertz technology. The potential of the technology for analysis, testing and measurement tasks has been impressively demonstrated for various applications in recent years. However, a number of challenges still have to be solved for use in industry.

In March a project meeting on the Fraunhofer lighthouse project "Machine Learning for Production (ML4P)" will take place at Fraunhofer ITWM.
