Zum einen findet eine technische Weiterentwicklung der Prüfstandsysteme statt, einschließlich der Mess-, Regelungs- und Informationstechnik, zum anderen verändert sich die Einbindung der Prüftechnik innerhalb der Produktentwicklung. Die Vorgehensweisen unterscheiden sich bei der Bauteiloptimierung, der Fertigungsfreigabe und der Qualitätssicherung deutlich. Sie unterscheiden sich auch von Produkt zu Produkt.

Transport modeling and management constitutes a major issue for modern society. Vehicular traffic and crowd movements, and their consequences on pollution, safety, time-consumption and their social and economical consequences, require an accurate policy and planning of the infrastructure. The modeling and analysis of traffic phenomena can be performed at different scales (micro, meso and macro), and the research activity on the subject has grown considerably in the last decades, involving engineers, physicists and mathematicians. The workshop will focus on the mathematical developments which can contribute to advancing the fields of modeling of traffic, calibration and estimation of models, and control of traffic through mathematical models.

Die Sicherstellung einer gewünschten hohen Zuverlässigkeit erfordert im Zeitalter der Industrie 4.0 eine ständige Weiterentwicklung bekannter Ansätze. Letztlich muss die Zuverlässigkeit eines Produktes über den gesamten Produktlebenslauf betrachtet werden und beherrschbar sein.

Um die Produktion nicht durch den Messprozess zu beeinträchtigen, sind berührungslose Messtechniken von großer Bedeutung. Im Symposium werden unterschiedliche Methoden der berührungslosen Schichtdickenbestimmung und ihre Einsatzmöglichkeiten vorgestellt.
