Tasks and Functions of the Scientific Advisory Board
The Scientific Advisory Board consists of renowned university scientists, who are particularly connected to the Institute. It advises the ITWM on new scientific developments. It examines new results of international research on its relevance to institute research and regularly submits them to the Institute's steering committee.
The Scientific Advisory Board also helps to shape the scientific life of the institute.
In addition, this means that the Scientific Advisory Board supports:
- the organization of the doctoral theses, which the institute promotes.
- the organization of conferences and workshops with external scientists.
- attracting experts and speakers for events at the institute.
