Workshop

The workshop on terahertz technology offers a comprehensive overview of advances in areas such as electronics, optoelectronics, vacuum electronics and the fabrication of THz components. It covers a wide range of applications, including gas sensors for medical applications and environmental monitoring, food inspection, biosensors, THz imaging, non-destructive testing, communications and spectroscopy.

The workshop provides a platform for exchanging ideas and promotes collaboration in terahertz research.

Our expert Dr. Fabian Friederich from the »Materials Characterization and Testing« department is participating in the workshop as a speaker. In this talk, he discusses the developments of continuous-wave terahertz systems and their application in the field of non-destructive testing, with a particular focus on his most recent work. He will also provide an outlook on the latest developments in measurement systems for potential applications in the field of 6G communication.
