Our colleague Dr. Maris Bauer from the »Material Characterization and Testing« department will give a lecture on 03. October 2024 at 16:00 with the title »Terahertz in Industry: Technology and Application«.

The APROPOS 19 conference continues the series of symposia held in Vilnius since 1971, first under the title »Plasma and Instabilities in Semiconductors« and later under the title »Ultrafast Phenomena in Semiconductors« (UFPS).

The conference is dedicated to the exchange of new ideas and developments in the technology, research and application of advanced optoelectronic materials. It provides a platform to discover modern trends and processes that arise when optics meets electronics. 

A special focus of this year's conference will be on the applications of ultrafast methods for advanced materials.
