28th Dresden District Heating Colloquium

Conference of the Working Group for District Heating (AGFW) on Heat Generation and Planning in Germany

The 28th Dresden District Heating Colloquium will address the central questions raised by the heat turnaround and the accompanying transformation of heat generation and municipal heat planning (kWP):

  • What are the initial implementation and operational experiences from entrepreneurial practice?
  • What new developments and technologies are expected to further accelerate this process?
  • How can the utility and housing industries successfully shape this process with municipalities?

In addition, participating companies and institutes will present their products relevant to the topic in an accompanying trade exhibition - Fraunhofer ITWM is also on board here: Johanna Heidrich and Dr. Jan Mohring from the department »Transport Processes« will participate in the exhibition with their own booth on site. In addition, Dr. Jan Mohring will give a lecture entitled »Dynamic Simulation of District Heating Networks« on Wednesday, 20.09.2023.
