DMPP – Workshop: for the Prepainted Metals Supply Chain to the Construction Market
Requirements for a Digital Materials and Product Passport
ECCA and the DigiPass project consortium are organizing a workshop to collect and integrate requirements from industry and academia for a Digital Material and Product Passport (DMPP) in the supply chain of pre-coated metals for construction.
The DMPP is seen as an important tool to transfer information along the supply chain and improve the circularity of these products. The workshop aims to capture the needs of the industry, especially in view of the upcoming implementation of the European Commission's Ecodesign Regulation in July 2024.
Topics of the workshop include required data, data storage, IP protection and the use of IT infrastructures.
