European Conference on Operational Research
Every year, the EURO – short for Association of European Operational Research Societies – organizes a conference on the topic of »Operational Research«. This is the scientific field of automated planning and optimization and ranges from classical mathematical modelling to methods of Artificial Intelligence.
The EURO conferences are organized every year by different EURO member companies. In 2024, the Danish OR Society (DORS) is organizing it at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU).
Our colleague Dr. Pascal Halffmann from the department »Financial Mathematics« will be on site and give a talk entitled »Harnessing the Power of Quantum Computing for Multiobjective Optimization Algorithms«.
